The Sounders earned a 3-0 pre-season victory over Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna in Marbella. Three 45-minute periods were played in this friendly. Kalani Kossa-Rienzi scored in the first period, and Jesús Ferreira picked up a brace in the latter part of the match, where one of his goals was directly off a freekick.
18-year old Snyder Brunell earned an assist in the match, setting up Kalani’s goal with Georgi Minoungou. For the final goal, Osaze De Rosario assisted Ferreira’s second goal.
The match was as friendly as a friendly can get, with no reported yellow or red cards throughout the entire 135-minute game.
There was no stream available to watch the game, the club announced shortly before kickoff.
Stefan Frei, who played in the second half of the team’s first preseason game against Brøndby, did not participate in the game.

New signee and goalkeeper Max Anchor came into the game with the second squad and received his first ever minutes as a Sounder.
Young goalkeeper Mo Shour, who the club said that he joined the squad in Spain but was unavailable for the game.
Brian Schmetzer sent out two squads during this 135-minute match, getting in runs for many players. Both the starting group and finishing group swapped after 72 minutes.

There were some unused substitutes, who were Noah Newman, Antino Lopez, Joe Dale, and Peter Kingston. The only standalone substitute used was Yu Tsukanome, replacing Danny Musovski at the 122nd minute. The reason of the substitution is not yet known.
Overall, the Sounders bounced back in their second preseason game, and despite there not being a stream to visually witness the game, the team seems to be picking up on fitness and form.
The Sounders will play their last two matches of the Marbella preseason camp on February 5th, where the team will face both Hammarby (SWE) and FC Metalist (UKR). Following the squad’s return home, the final friendly will be against Louisville City FC of the USL Championship at Longacres.
