House of WA Soccer is the network home that contains House of Sounders and House of Reign FC, formed in 2026 shortly after going independent. Where House of Sounders and House of Reign FC are the official outlet names, House of WA Soccer represents our overall entity and coverage under one name.
House of Sounders was formed in 2022 by Niko Antoun and Atif Bhatti, who were both born and raised in the Seattle area and have always been involved in the Washington State soccer community. In the same year, the House of Sounders platform joined Area Sports Network as its Seattle division, which saw both social media bases grow tremendously from day one all the way past the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Contributing to the Seattle soccer beat for Area Sports Network, House of Sounders began providing reliable news and updates from the club and its matches as a Seattle-focused appeal to fans. As we grew, our mission evolved into not only offering an online community space for supporters to have discussions and stay up to date on the latest information, but also to further strengthen the strong soccer presence in Washington State with the Sounders fanbase.
Therefore, we decided to base our slogan on the iconic Sounders chant “Sounders Unity,” which also reflects our enthusiasm for collaborating with other talented reporters, content creators, photographers, and outlets. All the way from Lumen Field, we also began picking up coverage in local Seattle soccer, such as Ballard FC’s historic run in their 2023 USL League Two National Championship victory.
In 2024, after two years of incredible growth, we established House of Reign FC to dedicate a space for the women’s game in Seattle, officially going all in for the Seattle Reign FC. From 2022 to the end of 2024, our Seattle division grew from two reporters to seven photographers and three reporters, and has now expanded to a bigger team.
As the 2025 season concluded, after the incredible opportunities House of Sounders and House of Reign FC saw through Area Sports Network, we mutually agreed to go fully independent to focus purely on Seattle and Washington State soccer and to forever foster a close partnership. From 2026 on, this website now exists as your hub for Sounders, Reign, and local Washington State soccer news and content.
