The Sounders will at last be making a summer signing after the club agreed on a $6 million fee with Sporting Kansas City for Dejan Joveli?, Fabrizio Romano reported on social media with his famous “here we go” declaration.
The club have not made a summer signing since August 5, 2021 after picking up Léo Chú and Nicolas Benezet. After a summer of struggling and front office disapproval from the fanbase, Jovelic will be an important offensively addition to the Sounders in hopes of turning the season around.
An official announcement from the club will be made after Jovelic passes his medical.
