Pedro de la Vega Likely To Miss The Remainder of the 2026 Season Due to Quad Pull

After Friday’s training, Head Coach Brian Schmetzer announced that Pedro de la Vega is likely to miss the rest of the year after injuring his left quad. Schmetzer described this injury as a “significant left quad pull,” which de la Vega sustained shortly after returning from his previous injury less than 10 minutes after substituting on the field against Querétaro in Leagues Cup.

Pedro de la Vega may need to get surgery for this quad pull, which Schmetzer said that the club will inquire across multiple doctors in the United States and one in Argentina for different opinions. Following the evaluations, the next steps will be determined for recovery.
