The Sounders have scheduled an additional friendly, where the team will face Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna on January 31st. Kickoff is set at 5am PT in Maaga, Spain. The venue is the Estepona Football Center a private, professional-grade sports complex next to Segunda B (Spanish fourth-tier) side CD Estepona’s home stadium. The neighboring stadium has a capacity of 3,800, but the Sounders will be playing on the professional-grade fields surrounding the venue.
Adding a preseason friendly in the middle of the schedule will be a beneficial test for the Sounders, given that the squad would have originally waited almost two weeks until their next games on February 5th against Swedish side Hammarby and Ukrainian side FC Metalist.

The Sounders have played only one game going into this newly scheduled friendly, where the club started the preseason from a 2-0 loss against Danish side Brondby on January 23rd.
Now, the team will have another non-competitive European test to try out tactics, provide players more runs, and work on overall fitness.
