Jackson Ragen has been announced onto the 2026 MLS All-Star roster as a Coach’s Selection, MLS announced on Wednesday morning. The 28-year-old defender will be involved in his first All-Star match against the Liga MX All-Stars.
Ragen was selected by Head Coach Dean Smith for this year’s 29-player MLS All-Star squad, in what is the final batch of roster selections.
No Seattle Sounders players were selected in the initial All-Star batch, voted by the fans, media, and players, announced in early June. The rest of the MLS All-Star roster was picked in a collaborative effort between Dean Smith and MLS, as well as including two commissioner’s picks.
Ragen will link up with players like Lionel Messi, Heung-Min Son, and Thomas Müller to face the Liga MX All-Stars on Wednesday, July 29th at Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina.
