The Sounders have officially announced the signing of defender Ryan Sailor as a free agent after three years in Miami. The defender played four seasons for Inter Miami, and has now inked a deal in Seattle through 2026 with an option until June 2027.
Sailor is a University of Washington alumni and the club has been aware of his presence since he played for the Huskies. After playing three seasons at Inter Miami as a draftee, the 27-year-old made 49 appearances at the club and won the 2025 MLS Cup with the club.

Most notably, Sailor was a key contributor for the 2021 College Cup runner-up Washington Huskies. Captaining the team, huge personal achievements as Mac Herman Semi-Finalist, Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-American, & Pac-12 1st Team.
